Yeah, that's the main disappointment since many indie games are in long developing madness, or even frozen forever. With just free will and lil team of devs (if not alone completely) it's much harder than selling new Fifa each year🥲🥲.

Danganronpa isn't actually much horror like Elfen Lied or Another. It's more into Detective, Mystery. Though there's some bloody scenes, the anime is well censored. Comparing to what happenned in the VNs... it's pure and simple :DDD. So, you can try if you wish. There's 13EPs 1st season, and 26 more EPs for the alternative story. Though I consider original 13 better.

I still remember a scene in Nekopara 4 where other nekos were discussing candies, AND THEN!.. you hear like a deep echo from your left ear resonates, and someone's short, swift legs are rushing in the scenes and smashing everything on its way like a canonbolt, causing YOUR OWN SCREEN TO SHAKE XDXDXD. Yes, it's Chocola heard someone said "Candies". Then, she shouts demandingly she wanna eat them too and hops here and there like a toad! All nekos are shoked, dishes fell on the floor, and the table reads its last mantra to stay alive one more day...
